About

Given Presence is a public art project created and produced by Name[d] in which small digital works are created for the singular purpose of giving away. Approximately modeled after the designer toy industry's concept of "blind box assortments,"  such works are produced and printed in limited runs and editions and are then packaged and concealed inside gift boxes. These "gifts" are then placed into the public sphere for anyone to view or receive (take). As a final component of this project this blog was created so that recipients of these works might respond to the project as a whole or to individual works as well. All comments and criticisms are welcomed.

Lot's Hell Bent

Assuming a place where our time never ends, us with our family and all of our friends, but without pain or death or undesirable change, this it seems, is paradise, no lives rearrange. And we are on Holiday, the feast of our famine, the Will to Power, Thanksgiving Heaven. But considering the nature of our depravity, how between our action and will lies great disparity, this eternity of changeless now must be sown, not as the heaven above but the hell below. Salvation from without must thus be sent, because sad as it is, we together, all and alone are a little less than God but Lot’s hell bent.
